This recipe is usually one that i make during the holidays or for special events. It is a simple and quick treat, Marshmallow Krispies. the following is list of supplies and ingredients:
1 - 2 Qt sauce pan
1 - roll of Purex waxed paper
1 - box of round toothpicks
1 - lb of Kraft Caramels
1 - 8oz box of Kellogg's Rice Krispie's
1 - bag of Kraft Jet Puff marshmallows
1 - can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk
1 - stick of Blue Bonnet Margarine
In the sauce pan add the caramels, condensed milk, and 2 tbsp of margarine.
over low heat melt the ingredients together, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. When the caramels are completely melted you are ready to start dipping. Prior to dipping, pour the rice krispies into a large bowl, and spread wax paper out on the counter.
Put a toothpick into the end of a marshmallow and dip it into the caramel mixture covering the marshmallow completely. Move the dipped marshmallow over to the bowl of rice krispies and cover completely with rice krispies. next move the treat to the wax paper and let cool. Remove the toothpick after cooling and enjoy.
This treat is a great way to bond together as a family. Try it and see!
