To start off my blogging experience I am going to share with you my favorite dip recipe, Clam Dip.
the following is a list of ingredients and supplies needed:
large bowl w/ lid
large fork
1 - can Snow's Minced Clams
2 - 8 oz packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 - bottle of Tabasco hot sauce
1 - bottle of Lee & Perrins Worcheshire Sauce
1 - bottle of lemon juice
1 - 1/2 cup small red onion diced (optional)
***To help in mixing the ingredients together, I suggest that you set the cream cheese out at room temperature at least 1 hour prior to combining ingredients.
Let's get started. Combine the cream cheese, and minced clams together in the bowl. Drain part of the clam juice from the can prior to combining it with the cream cheese. If you are adding onions, do so now. begin mixing the ingredients together with the large fork.
Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1/3 cup of worcheshire sauce as you continue to mix the ingredients together.
I like to spice things up with Tabasco, so I add a lot of Tabasco. It is up to you to flavor it to your tastes.
Continue to mix the ingredients until the dip becomes creamy. Place the lid on the bowl and return it to the refrigerator to be chilled.
(Note) If you chill the dip overnight, it will become hotter than it was the previous day)
I prefer Wavy Lay's over Ruffles, but either one works.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.
